Los Angeles is more than fame, name brands, and shiny things

When people think of Los Angeles, they think of celebrities and wealth. Yes, there are loads of that, but there is an underlying charm that is seen beneath those extremes.
It's a city that anyone can fit in, feel accepted, and be embraced.
I'm walking to Canyon Coffee and a passerby strides with confidence and ego, but in a way that feels empowering. I can be that. I see a woman wearing an outfit with pairings I would not mock-up on my own. I am now inspired. My friends and I are sitting outside a coffee shop and overhear two adult friends talking about their sex life and now the five of us are in conversation.
Everyone is cool. No one is trying to be someone else or copy another. Everyone is their own individual. No one gives a f*ck about what other people think.
Time is not of the essence. Being 35 and not married or with children is not judged. Being 27 and not yet engaged is relatable. The joy of existing is enhanced when you're surrounded by noise. There is no other option than being you, whatever that looks like.
I could walk out of the house in my pajamas and it's a "vibe."
